A .30 RIMFIRE FOUR-BARRELLED DERRINGER PISTOL, MODEL 'SHARPS PATENT', serial no. 4124,
circa 1870, with 3in. barrel-group (traces of finish), plain silver-plated frame signed 'TIPPING & LAWDEN SHARP'S PATENT' in a circle around the hammer axis screw on the left hand side, centrally mounted blued hammer with rotary auto-indexing nose, black 'gutta-percha' grips with raised foliate design and blued push button opener, the whole with much original finish remaining except where noted
